Coinbase bridge is faster than the standard L2 bridge

USDC is the de-facto base asset on Base DeFi
Most Base DeFi protocols quote in USDC, not ETH. For realized-gain calculation on a swap, the cost basis follows the input asset; the proceeds follow the output asset. A USDC → ETH swap on Aerodrome is a USDC sale for an ETH buy, with the realized gain on USDC computed against its cost basis (typically near-zero given USDC's stable peg, but tracked).
Aerodrome vote bribes are ordinary income
Voters who delegate veAERO to specific gauges receive bribes from protocols soliciting votes. These bribes are ordinary income on receipt, valued at the bribe-token's price on the receipt date. We book them automatically.

How does Wag3s reconcile Base activity against Coinbase Prime?
We pull the Coinbase Prime statement at month-end and reconcile every Coinbase ↔ Base bridge event against the Coinbase-side movement. The closed loop (deposit → on-chain activity → withdrawal back to Coinbase) is reconciled end-to-end so the auditor sees a clean trail.
Do you support Coinbase Smart Wallet?
Yes. Coinbase Smart Wallet is an EIP-4337 smart-account wallet with passkey authentication. The transactions look slightly different from EOA transactions (entry-point pattern) but we decode them identically. The user's passkey is irrelevant to our side; we only see the on-chain activity.
Are bribes received on Aerodrome ordinary income?
Yes — same treatment as ve(3,3) bribes on Velodrome (Optimism) or Curve (Ethereum). The bribe-token is received as ordinary income at fair-value on the receipt date. Subsequent sale of the bribe-token realizes gain or loss against that basis.
