Cookie Policy
How we use cookies on wag3s.io — no advertising trackers, no analytics
Plain English, no jargon
1. WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie is a small text file saved on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit a website. It lets the site remember certain things about your visit, like your display preferences, so they carry over next time.
Cookies come in two types: session cookies (deleted as soon as you close your browser) and persistent cookies (stored on your device for a set period of time).
Here's exactly what we do with them on Wag3s.
The cookies we need to keep the site working
2. ESSENTIAL COOKIES
Wag3s only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function. These don't require your consent because without them, basic things simply wouldn't work.
Here's what we set:
Session cookie
Keeps your browsing session active so you don't have to reload state between pages. Automatically deleted when you close your browser.
Theme preference (color-mode)
Remembers your dark/light mode setting so we apply it automatically on your next visit. Lasts up to 1 year.
Neither of these cookies collects personal data for profiling or advertising purposes.
Cookies that may come from external services we integrate
3. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
We use no analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, nothing), no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking. The marketing site at wag3s.io does not load any third-party script that sets cookies. Wallet connection and authenticated product flows live on app.wag3s.io and are governed by that subdomain's own privacy and cookie disclosures.

4. COOKIE RETENTION
How long a cookie sticks around depends on its type:
Session cookies
Gone the moment you close your browser. Nothing is kept after your session ends.
Preference cookies (persistent)
Cookies that save your dark/light mode setting are kept for a maximum of 1 year from when they were set or last updated.
No cookie on Wag3s stays on your device for longer than 13 months without being refreshed through a new interaction with the site.
How to control or delete cookies from your browser
5. MANAGING YOUR COOKIES
You can disable, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Turning off essential cookies may break some parts of the site.
Cookie settings in common browsers:
- Google Chrome: Menu -> Settings -> Privacy and security -> Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Menu -> Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences -> Privacy -> Manage Website Data
- Microsoft Edge: Menu -> Settings -> Cookies and site permissions
Most browsers also let you set rules per site, so you can allow cookies on Wag3s while blocking them elsewhere.
